OUR MINISTRIES

Led by First Lady Williams, the Prayer Ministry actively encourages and promotes prayer within the life of the church.

Led by Mother Febby Washington, the Mothers Ministry is made up of mature women in the church who set an example of Godly womanhood, and exhort the women in the church through the teaching of God's Word, and counseling the younger women in the church.

Led by Reverend Rodney King, the Men's Ministry works to connect with the men in the church and to draw more men to God, to minister to them and train them to be strong men in Christ.

Led by Evangelist Velicia Tillman-Johnson and Minister Sammie Wilson, the Missions Ministry works to spread the message of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by seeking opportunities to evangelize the lost, help meet needs, and be a presence in the community.

Led by Sis. Crystal Butler, the Ushers Ministry works to maintain the order in the sanctuary during worship so that every individual can have a positive experience from the worship service.

The Youth Ministry is in the process of being overhauled. We are working on ways to reach the new generation.

Led by Mother Barbara Nix, the Christian Education Ministry directs the process of human development toward God's objective for man: to grow and become more Christ-like to fulfill the mission God has ordained in the individual's life.

Shantal Michael and Kristen Michael, the

Choir/Music Ministry works to lead and minister to the congregation during worship  through song and music to encourage believers in their walk with Christ.

Led by First Lady Williams, the Pastor's Aide Ministry assists the pastor  and his family by providing ongoing support to ensure the pastor's spriritual and practical well-being.

Led by Deaconess Annie McRae, the Hospitality Ministry works to provide a welcoming environment of love, acceptance, comfort, support, care, and unity for visitors, members, guests, and friends in order to enhance their worship experience, encourage fellowship, and help build a community of believers.

Women's Ministry is in the process of a revamp. We are looking for new ways to unite the women of Solid Rock and meet each other's spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
